The Economic Development Agency (EDA) is dedicated to providing business assistance programs to ease your move or expansion in Riverside County. Through economic development, redevelopment, community development and housing, EDA can meet all your business needs. Additionally, EDA provides incentives for businesses, which include the following:
Fast Track Program
Qualified industrial and commercial developments receive personalized assistance and priority processing to accelerate land-use and building permits so that proposals receive approval in as little as six weeks.
Redevelopment Project Areas
County specified project areas offer tax reimbursements, credit enhancement, financing for land acquisition or payment of fees, and construction of public improvements.
Industrial Development Bonds
Financing of up to $10 million is available for land or building acquisition, capital equipment purchases, construction, and architectural and engineering services at 2 to 3 percent below prime market rate.
Recycling Market Development Zones
If your business is located within the zone, state authorized locations for businesses which either process recyclable materials diverted from our waste stream or use those same materials in the manufacture of new products, you may qualify for a low-interest rate loan of up to $1 million to finance land and equipment purchases or for working capital.
Other Economic Development Loan Programs
Loans with low rates and excellent terms are available to you for land acquisition, construction of buildings, capital equipment purchases, and architectural and engineering fees.
