Welcome to the Disability Program Navigator (DPN). The DPN section of this website has been created to assist those with disabilities and those that employ, work, or live with individuals with disabilities. The Navigator is a resource person to guide job seekers with disabilities at all levels through the complexity of entitlement programs, the American with Disabilities Act (ADA), and career guidance.
The Navigator helps the Workforce Development Centers’ partners develop improved services systems for people with disabilities. These improved systems ease access to services and the various programs that impact the ability to gain, return to, or retain employment and meet their career objectives.
Together with the Workforce Development Centers’ Career Resource Area staff, counselors from other state agencies, employers, advocates, and the disability population in general, the DPN is the point-person that brings them all together.
Finding services and programs to help you does not have to be frustrating or confusing. If you are wondering how your benefits may be impacted, let us provide you with resources to help you understand the process.
